Hey Courtney! You had some very cool photos this week. Your Construction was good. Your pictures were centered, evenly spaced, and easy to follow. But I wish they were larger. I also couldn’t click on some of them to open. For Communication, I liked the retro-feel. The neon lights and colors really added to it. I felt like I was in a 50s/60s diner in the first few pictures. I also thought your Conception was good. I think your variety of distances and angles created interest. I also like that your photos had different color concepts; some were all color and others had just a pop of color. Finally, my vote for Picture of the Week is #7. I think it has everything: beautiful color, good lighting, and an interesting angle. Great job!
form - Great to see both vertical and horizontal pictures! Pictures are numbered and centered.
content - You chose good contents for this topic. Picture #3 and #5 have some mystery, especially #3. I really don't know what it is. I understand you have learned from this class very much so far!
impact - As for me picture #1 and #7 gave me much impact. On #1 simply it is because of black and red contrast. On #7 I feel some old flavor from the whole picture probably by your editing. The car stands out well.
I like picture #5. Sweet and soft colors make the picture pretty and cute.
Hello Courtney! Excellent photos this week. Your use of color is awesome in this set. You found some really neat colors in your photos. The composition on most of these are awesome. The photo of the pink and white station and the restaurant are enhanced because of excellent composition. You have a nice blend of experimental and natural looking photos in this group. My favorite photo is #12. The way the light bounces off the person's face and the contrast between the blue and the yellow make for a very striking picture. Great job on your photos this time.
Hey Courtney, The construction was great, everything was numbered, spaced, and centered perfectly. Your communication was good, I was able to see what the photos were about and what you were looking for. I like the wide variety of subjects used. Your conception was great. I like the different colors and bright lights you used early to get out attention then shifted to less aggressive bright photos. My favorite photo is #2. I like the neon and the glow effect is caused the rest of the area because it was night/dark.
Hi Courtney! Your pictures were my favorite this week! For your construction, all of your pictures are numbered, centered, and evenly spaced. I liked that your pictures had so much variety in content, angles, and colors. I also especially loved that you grouped certain pictures together according to their color – it definitely added more power to them. However, I wish the pictures were all a little larger. For your communication, you shot a variety of pictures that were easy to identify and difficult to identify, yet they all still had mystery to them. I love the way the colors change from picture to picture. For example, in pictures 3, 4, 5, and 6, you start off at an orange-purple color and gradually the color changes to purple and then blue. For the conception, almost all of your pictures seem to have a fluorescent feel to them. It looks like you shot objects in a variety of different locations. Even though you grouped your pictures by color, none of the pictures have the same exact hue of color, which I loved. My vote for POW is picture 5 because it’s the most mysterious shot for me. It made me stop to think of what that person was doing when you shot it and how the color turned out the way it did. Overall, fantastic job!
Hi Courtney, Your construction is good. all of your numbers and pictures are centered. Most of your pictures have some form of blue in them. I noticed that the darker and lighted pictures are grouped together. the colors are vibrant. You moved from signs to walls, to the ground to food, then to people. There's a good selection of color here.
I like the construction of your photos and how you stay consistent throughout with numbers and centering. For communication, I felt like I got a good grasp of what you are passionate about. This is why my favorite picture is photo #5. The colorful shadows create a mysterious, yet playful vibe. Your content was really good. I liked how you mainly stuck to the same colors and were consistent throughout with red, blue, yellow and purple!
Hi Courtney! Your best photo here is 7, I think, because it is the photo with the most obvious story behind it - a shiny, classic car. I am really interested in your other photos because the lighting is pretty amazing and I'm not sure where these were taken, but I am intrigued.
