  1. Awesome job this semester! I always feel that I can relate to your photos and your subjects. I really like this final portfolio and how you organized it as a journey through your life. This could be hard to do being that all of the pictures are taken at the same time but meant to represent different time periods, however you executed it wonderfully! My favorite picture is #5 in middle school days. It is simple yet tells a story about how much time you spent dancing during that period of your life. Awesome job this semester!

  2. Hi Allison! For your construction, all of your pictures are centered and evenly spaced with a variety of horizontal and vertical pictures. For your communication, your pictures can be read pretty easily, but I think that was the point you were trying to make. You wanted your viewers to get a straightforward glimpse into what your life has been like. Your middle school memory pictures made me think back to my extracurricular activities and how I used to play soccer. For the conception of your pictures, you hit the nail on the head. I love that you took us through your life, from when you were born to senior year of college. I can definitely relate because I’m graduating this year too! My vote for picture of the year is #5 in “Middle School Days.” I love the obscure view and the lighting in this picture. It also goes along perfectly with your dance theme. Overall, good job!

  3. Hello Allison,
Your final portfolio was really cool, it really tells us the story of your life through the photos in each chapter. My favorite photo is #6 of High School Driving Days. It reminds me of one of my old Myspace profile pictures, haha.

  4. Hi Allison. Congratulations on a great semester! I love your final portfolio. I really like how your organized it chronologically by the years of school you were in. It's like you were taking us a trip down memory lane. Photo of the year for me number 3 because I love flying and traveling.

  5. Hi Allison,

I like that you took a different approach to the chapters in your portfolio. You bring us in, and take us through your life. Although some of these photos might be too directed, or obvious, they still work for what you're going for. I love that you got the two graduation caps in there too - definitely adds emotion. Photo of the year for me is #5 under Middle School Days. Even if you didn't have your ballet shoes in your portfolio, anyone would know you were one with that arch in your foot. It's very mysterious, also, which is the goal of this class. Overall, great job this semester!

  6. Hi Allison! Great job this semester! I really enjoyed looking through your final blog. It really told a story and the titles especially helped with creating the story. It was like you were taking me on a journey through your life and hometown. I also appreciate the variety of objects, scenes, and angles. I wish you numbered the pictures though, just because it would make it easier to reference. My favorite photo would have to be Picture #3 from the chapter “Middle School Days”. It is a really beautiful self-portrait. Your arm creates a nice line, which divides up the picture. And by having your eyes looking upward and stretching your arm in the same direction, it makes my eyes follow that path. Awesome job!

  7. Hey Allison! I like your chapter titles and how they follow your life story. I also like how all of your pictures follow a theme, and are edited to follow that theme. The muted tones and lack of color, leading into a more vibrant and colorful current life is a cool transition. My choice for picture of the year goes to the 2016 grad cap. Congratulations on graduating and good luck in life!

  8. First of all Congratulation on your graduation! I enjoyed your life memory through the final portfolio. During your "early childhood days" you put a picture from the airplane but was it taken when you recently went back to your hometown, or did it reflect your childhood memory such as moving out or travel somewhere? For me the best picture is ballet slippers' one. From your portfolio I understood you practiced ballet when you were in middle school and that picture taught me it was not easy. Hope you enjoy your life after graduation!

  9. Hi Allison,
Thank for giving us a look into your life story. You've come a long way and took us for the ride. I think my favorite picture is of the sunglasses. It was hard for me to choose one. Your Final Portfolio is unique in concept and thoughtful in execution. Congratulations on being Temple's class of 2016.
